Hello, My name is dog. Sometimes it was "bad dog", "shut up dog", or "go away dog" but usually just plain old dog. Most recently it was "see ya dog" as my family got into the car and drove away. The grown ups told the kids they would just get a new puppy later. I guess I got too old, even though I don't even think I am a whole year old yet.
I roamed around on my own until the dog catcher picked me up and loaded me in a crate. Then he put me in a big cage and here I sit, waiting for people who will never come back for me. The dog catcher said something about an eviction whatever that means.
I have been here for a while and I am worried because I keep hearing about space and more dogs coming. They say they may have to put me down, but I am already down. How else could I feel.
A lady came today and took my pictures. After a while I let her pet me but I am very scared. I cower a lot and duck because I am used to people hitting and kicking me. The lady said that she would try to find someone who will be good to me.

Would you like to see more pictures of me? Just email my rescue and they will be more than happy to share my other pictures with you.
We've been receiving more inquiries then ever before and it is taking me longer then normal to respond to them. Please understand that we are a volunteer organization. It may take a day or two to respond to your questions, so please be patient with us. We also had to stop taking phone calls temporarily because of the volume of calls and the time needed on the phone with perspective adopters on a daily basis. I will be more then happy to call and explain the entire adoption process if you are serious about adopting a dog. Please email your questions and I will respond as quickly as possible.
