Description: Copper resides at a rescue in Arkansas. Please contact Gail's Pets for more information.
Copper is a super friendly female dog estimated to be 1-1/2 years old and a Hound mix, perhaps a little July Hound and/or Red Bone Coonhound. She weighs approximately 50 pounds.
Copper was owner surrendered after her family had their first baby and couldn't afford to take care of physically or financially any longer. Sad story, so that is why she is looking for a new forever family.
Cooper loves the water. She has a large tub in her pen and loves to get into it on hot Arkansas days. She also loves attention from the volunteers. She is strong on a leash and we are trying to teach her how to walk properly. It's work, but we're trying.
Copper is spayed and up to date on her immunizations. She is heartworm negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventive.
Cooper is looking for a new family. Hopefully that will be with you.
